this like house home parenting relationships niche for ADHD. So she's great for middle-aged moms, she's great for neurodivergent moms who have neurodivergent children, and most of her content is on TikTok and Instagram. I think she's most active on TikTok. She had a gr has a great podcast, the struggle struggle care podcast. That is where I get most of my content from her these days, and it's it's phenomenal. I don't, I think she kind of slowed down a bit because she's in the process of publishing a second book. Her first book, How to Keep House While Drowning, is wonderful. It is a tiny little book, and it is written in an ADHD friendly format. It's super cool. It's the way she has it organized is there's there's a lot of white space, a lot of bullet points, a lot of you know, highlighting and call-out boxes for important, like important information. And there's like it's almost like choose your own adventure because there'll be parts of it where it's like, if this doesn't apply to you, skip to this, you know, and it so you can move through it very, very easily. It it was the inspiration for when I formatted my books, like my novels. I made them, I formatted them in an ADHD friendly way. And it was because of her book that I even knew that was a thing. So yeah, if you are not familiar with Casey Davis, aka struggle care, she's absolutely, absolutely phenomenal. She's one of those creators too who like became I think TikTok is her is her main space because that's where she kind of rose to popularity. Like her stuff started going viral, and lots of especially moms started resonating with what she was saying. And then she got the podcast and wrote the book and all these other things. And she's been very open about her her own struggles in her life, having gone through some pretty traumatic things, and then also how she overcame those. And she's now a count, like she's a certified counselor, um, and has like a a legitimate background in supporting people with neurodivergent children and neurodivergent people themselves, but also those who struggled with some like life choices and things that they're not proud of and are on on a road to changing their life. So um highly recommend her just she's just so full of real talk and there's so much compassion in what she does. It's it's a really she's a really important person in this space. So if you're if you're not familiar, I would highly recommend at least following her on TikTok and Instagram for like short sound bites. Um, but the podcast is phenomenal. She's where we got the organiz or organization, organizing. That was what I was gonna say. So tidying and organizing are not the same thing, and neither is cleaning. think I would have gotten an ADHD diagnosis because yeah, absolutely. Yeah, she came across my for you page on TikTok kind of at the right time, and her ADHD content was so relatable, and we were already starting to kind of go through that process with my son, and so all one thing kind of led to another, and I definitely credit her for being one of the reasons why I got an ADHD diagnosis. She's great for kind of ADHD 101. So if you were like, hey, this stuff is really relatable, and also kind of understanding your diagnosis, like she's really great at taking the way the ADHD brain works and explaining it in a way that makes sense and like you feel very seen and very validated. Her specific niche these days is the intersection of ADHD and sex and ADHD and relationships, which is so so fascinating. Um, she also does a lot with ADHD and tabletop role-playing games, which I do not play, so I I don't know anything about that specific area of her content. She is still mostly on TikTok, Instagram. She's YouTube is where her most of her content is for long form videos. She has a new-ish podcast now, partnership with understood.org. Um, I've been listening to it while I walk on the track, and I say that as though I've been doing it forever, but really it was just the last week. Um feel that in my bones, girl. Yeah. But it's great because they're like 20 to 30 minutes, and you know, I just like listen while I'm like going around the track. And it's just got a book on ADHD and relationships coming out soon. Um, but yeah, she is absolutely phenomenal. And if you're not familiar with your with her work, it it's definitely one to dive into. I am pretty sure she's the reason that I have a diagnosis too, because you sort I started saying these things and you were like, that sounds a little, it was like beeping on the on the on the radar, like so. Then you started sending me her stuff, and I was like, this is a little too on the nose for me. Um, and then you got your diagnosis, and then I went and and got mine fairly shortly after that. I will say her content is a little not safe for work at times. So not all of it. I mean, as you mentioned, that's what her content is about. Um, but just know that she

Katie Osaurus: Relationships & Sex

she is not only sweary, but she's talking about topics that are not for children's ears. So she is an earbuds-in creator. She is not a like have playing loudly. Uh Katie Katie O'Source, in a way, Casey Davis can be like that, but typically she's more, she'll just drop a swear here and there. She's not usually talking about other not safer work content, but Katie Osborne will be talking about. So just keep that in mind. Yeah. It is very helpful if you are in a if you are neurodivergent yourself in a relationship with someone who is neurotypical, or if you're both neurodivergent, I would highly recommend her content for navigating relationship issues. So yeah, yeah. I've been sending stuff. I've been sending the podcast episodes to my husband. Yeah, like, eh, here. Yeah, you should listen to this. I don't know that he will. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, that's how mine is too. Anyway, yeah, yeah. For neurodivergent parents with ADHD children, or just parents with ADHD children, though if they are your biological children, somebody in that family is likely ADHD. Yeah, that apple didn't fall far. Just I'm just just gonna throw it out there. I think we said before too, like if you if all of your friends are neurodivergent, maybe take a look in the mirror, as you probably are too. But also if you have neurodivergent children and it's not your partner, right? Look in the mirror. Yeah, yeah. Um Dr. Carrie Jackson, she is a PhD, and her content is she's mostly on Instagram from what I've seen. I've been following her for a while, and she does really great content geared towards parents who have ADHD children, and she's got workshops and webinars and that kind of professional content. If you want to take kind of the stuff that you get from her Instagram and stuff, you know, going taking it a little bit further. But I think hers is really great if you have neurodivergent kids so that you can kind of understand how their brains work, because it's gonna be different, you know, than an adult with ADHD, you know, especially if you just, you know, like us got diagnosed in the past couple of years, like we're learning about this diagnosis at the same time our child is. So it's it's really it's really good for for that. I think any I'm a big fan of like, especially as an ADHD person, the small bites of information. She gives really valuable bits of information in a very digestible small bite. So um highly recommend her as well. She's she's wonderful. Yeah. And she, I believe, also has ADHD, which those are gonna be the the people who are really good at presenting the information in a way that ADHDers can grasp. That doesn't happen all the time. There's a couple of more professional resources. I don't know, I don't want to say professional, more clinical resources that that present ADHD information for people who are definitely not ADHD. And if they want to hire me to like put their stuff in bullet points, I will gladly take their money. Right. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Exactly. And also, kind of going back to relationships, Rich and Broxy, aka A D H D A D H D love, they are a British couple. They are great for couples and specifically people with neurotypical, ADHD people with neurotypical partners, because they're really good about not just like, hey, like here's some information about the way your brain processes information, but then gearing that information to the to the neuro the neurotypical partner so they can understand kind of how to support you best, how you process information. They are mostly on TikTok and Instagram. They have a podcast that I have not listened to yet. I know they've got some books out, I know there's a children's book out, there's, and they have a relationship

book out as well. Not too long ago, they released the, I don't know if you say it, doobie or dubby. It's a body doubling app. And my under I haven't used it, but my understanding is like you can basically body double virtually body double with other people when you have like something to do and you just need somebody else to do it with, you can get on the app and find someone as I trail off. At least my train of thought. Uh I think it's Dubby. Um but I I also I like Richard and Roxy. I think they're they're great. She is she the one I think she's the one I'm thinking of, but she's like they look kind of like punk rockish a little bit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. I like I like those two. And her stuff, for whatever reason, it is the most relatable. I think it's just the way that she's like you can s you can physically feel and see like when her brain just completely caches. Like we're waiting wait. What? Like, I've always found them amusing. They're good. Yeah. It was their videos that really helped me under not understand, but like describe the the like interruption

Parenting With ADHD in the Mix

Yeah, the video that they did that, I was like, oh my god, this this is exactly I sent that to my husband, and I'm like, this is how it feels when I'm doing something and you interrupt me. Like this is how my brain, my like it's unhinged, but this is this is what happens in my brain. Right. I'm not proud of it, and right, stop it. This is why I get so angry. This is why I'm not proud of the behavior. Yeah, right, right, right, exactly. And one that I I I'm pretty new to following, and I mostly follow her on threads is Becca King. Dr. Carrie Jackson: For Parents

to people who have ADHD. She mostly does workshops and coaching. She's a registered dietitian, board-certified dietitian. I think she's based in Charlotte. Because oddly enough, we have a ton of mutuals, and I discovered that when I was kind of looking up her website information and everything. But um, yeah, so I like her, I like her stuff. Like I said, I mostly follow her on threads, and that's where I get some good info. So yeah, those are my favorite. And as kind of, you know, you and I were talking about earlier, you know, much like your average ADHD person, like your interests changed. So when I was going through, you know, my social media to see which ADHD content creators I was following and that I was getting information from from, I realized that like I haven't followed anybody new in a really, really long time because my I guess I got to a point where I didn't need a whole bunch of information at one time. Yeah. And and there's also uh creators that I followed in the beginning that are no longer making content either. I like I noticed that, like, they haven't made new content in a while. So it's like I follow a lot of neurodivergent people and creators, but they're not specifically ADHD content creators. They're like authors and artists and stuff. I would say that's sort of what we are at this point. Like we create content that's ADHD topic-based, but it's not the primary source of what we create. Right. Um, I have some. There's one person that I cannot think of that I'm like I'm dying to figure out what her name is. Um she's a gorgeous woman with very long dark hair, and she she first caught my attention when she played this video on TikTok where she's talking about binaural um like reset, and it was like, turn your phone sideways and put this in your ear. And then you could feel the sound go back and forth in your head when your headphones are in. And she also she shares like practical ADHD food, but it's not just food that she talks. Like, she talks a little bit about everything. I think she's like a parent and she's not a parent coach, but she's like a counselor for ADHD children. Anyway, she's really good too. If I find her, I'll I'll put her in this section. But I also have a few that I follow, and these are for these are primarily like bite-sized bits of information. They're all on Instagram. And these are people that I have sent content, their content to my husband in an effort to help him understand something that I'm thinking or that our son might be dealing with. So that's that's what I like about these guys. But one of them is at nurture ADHD. That creator focuses primarily on children

Clinical vs. Lived ADHD Voices

and how to what makes ADHD children tick and how to work with that as you parent them. Coaching with Brooke, she has she's like often promoting her like webinars and content that she sells. But that's usually the last slide in her carousels. She has these sort of cartoon-based carousels for ADHD people that's like, you know, ADHD and friendships, ADHD and relationships, ADHD and and it's just it'll look like a little cartoon that's kind of childish, but it's incredibly dense with information in a very digestible way to understand it. And I really love her stuff. Very helpful. My ADHD counselor is another one who is pretty active on Instagram. I also see him a lot on threads. I have seen him more there recently. I kind of think of threads as like where you if you have a post that doesn't have a picture, this is where you put all your stuff. You know what I mean? Um it's like it's Twitter, but not Twitter. You know what I mean?

ADHD Love: Bridging Couples

It's anyway. Um he used to have like a lot more reels and videos, but I've seen him do more thread stuff now. Again, my ADHD counselor, and I like him because he is very intentional about what he says with women and their ADHD experience. Like he he, I want to say he's odd. I don't know that for sure, but I know he does have ADHD, but he's very, very clear about how ADHD research does not service women with ADHD and how it needs to. And here's some things you should know. And before I did the episodes about women, I made sure to look at his content again to see if there was anything I'd missed because he hit kind of the big ones and a few of that. So he's really good. One who's relatively, I don't want to say new to this space, she's been around for a while, but I started following her more recently as opposed to Katie Osaurus and Casey Davis. Her name is Sarah Kelly. Her handles are Sarah Kelly ADHD coach. She's on TikTok. She's also on Instagram. Her stuff is very relatable to you know how Elise Myers will sort of have the, she'll have like a computer screen and she'll say, like, here's what we're doing, and then she'll kind of flip through the next thing. Sarah Kelly does that too, and a lot of it is like drawings. So she'll be like, and this is why. And it's it's a very engaging format, and it's it's very helpful. Um, the last one is one I love, love, love, love, love. Basically, they take our ADHD episodes. That's not what they don't rip off our content. That's not what I mean. They are they rip off. We're about their content. I did get permission though. I did ask and say, like, hey, can we feature your content on our on their on our show? And they're like, yes, please do it.

If you know the Bucky's mascot, it kind of looks like that as their Instagram provides. It is a weasel. This this page, this creator, whoever this person is, is brilliant. They take practical tips and they'll give you like 10. And it'll be like 10 ways to get up off your butt when you're in a sit pit. What? I didn't know. I didn't know I needed that, but I absolutely did need that. And it'll be the most minuscule, tiny little thing that I swear I've tried like I don't know, seven or eight of them, and I haven't had a I haven't had one miss. Like these tips are so practical and helpful. Um, yeah. I find them on threads. In order to be on threads, you have to be on Instagram. I've never seen their content on Instagram, so I would say go go threads for them. But they again, ADHD Weasel Weekly, and it'll be like 10 tips of all these things that we'll do to help you. And and there's one specific person I'm thinking of right now who has a neurodivergent partner who has not gotten a diagnosis, but that person needs a diagnosis. I'm thinking about you. They might just help you get this person to handle their business a little differently. So ADHD Weasel Weekly. I love, love, love that creator. Just full of chalk full of great ideas for ADHD people. So and if I think of that woman, she's stunning. She's amazingly beautiful too. Like, I can't, I'm so mad that I can't think. And she's so stinking smart, she has she's a doctor. I can't even anyway. Nurture ADHD ADHD. Yeah, that's the reason.
